What seeds to use

What seeds to grow.
Now this is a question you have to have made in advance. There are a couple of ways you can get your green fingers on some cannabis seeds to grow in your outdoor grow.
The most easiest way of getting some seeds to grow is to save some bag seeds of some good smoke you have had. Just remember that the seeds you get from a “baggie” would most likely not give the same results of the smoke you had. One thing you must remember is that the smoke you had produced seeds. This means the plant was pollinated when growing. This can mean the plant “hermied” when it was grown or was pollinated by a male plant. You never know, you might get lucky and grow a Perfect plant with no genetic defects.
But if you are a bit more serious about getting good results is to buy your outdoor cannabis seeds online. Choosing your cannabis seeds online to grow can take a lot of research. Considering you are planning on growing Outdoors, you have to keep in consideration what cannabis seeds will respond the best to an outdoors environment.
It is true you can grow pretty much any cannabis strains outdoors, but this doesn’t mean you will get the optimum results. This is why you could spend hours in front of your computer, going through online cannabis seed stores, looking for the nicest, fattest plants to grow. Do not be fooled by all those pretty pictures you see of big plants that has those big fat nugs. Just remember, you can get the same results, but this means you need the perfect environment with perfect conditions to get the same result.
This is where the choice has to be made. Do you want a Sativa, Indica or a hybrid. Most websites will show which plants are for indoor and what is for outdoors. Now is the time to decide what strains you are going with. After you picked your strain, its time to see which Online cannabis shop sells that strain. This can be tricky as there are a lot of frauds out there that sell bad seeds or just keep your money.
Ordering your cannabis seeds online can take time. You must remember that you are not the only person that is ordering from them and you cant be put 1st in the queue just because you ordered from them. Be patient. Most Cannabis online Stores will notify you as soon as the order has been shipped. As soon as its out of their hands, its in the hands of the postage company and the dreaded customs.
This is where the most confusion comes in for the new online cannabis seeds buyer will get paranoid. Waiting 2-3 weeks for the order to reach you is normal. Remember, you live in a country with its own rules about receiving goods from overseas. This is where customs comes into play. Customs does not have time to open every package that comes through the post. Only packages that looks suspicious packages gets opened and inspected.
If your package has been opened, you will get notified via the address you had supplied to where your package was going stating your package was opened and contrabands has been confiscated. If the cannabis seeds where posted in a discreet package, the rest of the contents be re-sealed with Customs tape and forwarded to your supplied address.
Also, keep in mind that most cannabis seed shops WILL send your order seeds in a discreet package to ensure that customs doesn’t find your precious cargo, but some of them end of the day does get found, resulting in loss of your seeds and money. If this happens, the cannabis seed store cannot be held reliable for the loss, but you do get lucky sometimes in getting your seeds replaced for free. But this is not always the case.
Now that you have gotten your seeds, it is time to determine when to plant your seeds so that you get nice, big and healthy plants.

Finding a Location

Location Location Location!
One of the most important thing to keep in consideration if you are planning a Guerilla Grow is the Perfect location for your plants. Finding the perfect spot can be a problem for the urban grower as space is a issue in general.
***
There are a few things to keep into consideration when looking for the perfect outdoor grow:
1 – Security
After finding your potential grow spot, inspect the location. It is very important to look for distinct evidence of disturbance. Look for walking paths, traces of human disturbance and clutter (garbage). The last thing you want is someone stumbling onto your plants and claiming it for their own benefit or even worse, the police find it and burns/confiscate it.
Make sure the grow spot cant be seen from any nearby roads, pathways or buildings or even from the accidental praying eyes. The best place will be in my opinion to find a nice little spot surrounded by nice big bushes and even small trees that is difficult to reach or to see and get through.
When you are inspecting your potential grow location, make sure no one sees you entering or leaving as this can be a tip-off that something might be happening in there. And please keep in mind to keep your grow space to a minimum as the bigger the grow space, the better the chance is that someone can see it or even the police finds it with their “fly-overs”, alerting nearby mobile police to investigate a potential grow location.
Then there are the very important point I have to make out to anyone growing outdoors and even indoors. And that is to TELL NO ONE of your grow. For every person you tell, it is a potential risk of getting caught. Even your best friend can/might turn on you in a pinch. Im not saying don’t trust your friends, but just advising the risk you are taking in spreading the word.
2 - Lighting:
The main reason why you want to grow outdoors is because of the wonderful free lighting the sun provides. The sun provides approx. 10 000 lumens per square foot, which is a excellent for growth and peak yield. Make sure your grow spot has enough light through the day and minimal shade. You want those lumens to reach your plant directly as much as possible. It is proven that plants react better to morning sunlight than afternoon sunlight.
3 – Soil:
Every grower should know the importance of the perfect soil for planting. The easy way to check if the ground is viable, dig a small hole about 30cm deep. If the ground has clay or similar undesired soil. Remember, the soil can look good from above, but doesn’t mean it will be for your plant.
There are ways around this problem. Say you found the perfect spot to grow your plants, but your soil is undesired. This is where you improvise. Find a nice 3-4 gallon pot, dig a hole the size and depth of the pot and place the pot in your newly dug hole. Now you can add the desired soil for your grow. I personally would recommend using coco peat and perlite mix. You can buy this at any gardening store pre-made or separate.
4 – Water:
Everyone knows that nothing alive can live without water. This counts for your plant as well. Due to the grow being outdoors, you are very reliant on the weather. This is why growing near a water source like a river or lake to get that constant dampness in the soil. If this is not possible, you will be reliant on rain. IF you have a very dry temperature in your country/province with little rain, you will need to “visit” your plants regularly to give them the water it needs. IF the soil gets too dry, your roots will dry out and as a result, your plant will die.
***
If you have found your perfect grow location, it is time to prepare the location for the grow. 1st thing to do is to clean up your little piece of paradise by removing any small plants and weeds from the top soil so there are no other plants fighting for the same soil and nutrients.
When finished clearing the topsoil, remove any evidence of you being there. IF the soil is soft, loosen it up a bit and leave the location discreetly. Do not return to the location for about a week. After this time period, go back to your location and look for any evidence of someone that has been there after you. If someone found your location, they will have left footprints in the loosen soil you prepared or broken a few branches getting in. IF this is the case, your location has been compromised and its time to find a new location. Or if you desire, take the risk and still plant there.
If all is well and you spot is still safe, its time to think of getting your hands on some nice seeds for your grow.

The Basics about Growing Outdoors

Contrary to popular belief, marijuana can grow outdoors in pretty much in every country in the world. Growing outdoors does take work, but if done correctly, Outdoor Marijuana growing can give you peak yield and a superb harvest.
Planting outdoors is weather dependant, so it is imperative to plan well ahead if you wish to grow 1st Grade Outdoor Marijuana. Marijuana does need a minimum of 8 hours of sunlight per day to grow healthy. If you have a point freeze temperatures in your country, remember to grow after the last frost of the year or your plant will suffer under the outdoor conditions.
Growing outdoors has been the favorite for Marijuana cultivators for many years, but is not always possible due to increasing Hi-Tech detection equipment being used by Police Forces around the world. Google Earth even gets used by some Agencies to look for potential “Crops” growing in remote locations. Outdoor Marijuana is though the preferred way of growing due to the cost effectiveness of Outdoor growing, compared to growing indoors with HPS (High Pressure Sodium), CFL’s (Compact Fluorescent Lights) and such and the lower maintenance and is growing in it’s natural environment , which means bigger plants with bigger yields.
Of course, an outdoors setting requires special precautions not encountered with an indoors crop. You must be able to avoid detection, both from law enforcement freaks and common freaks, both of whom will take your weed and probably use it. And the last thing that you want is someone else enjoying your hard work.
Picking the ideal “spot” for your grow you must keep in mind that you need to be able to get access to the grow space to prepare your soil and secure enough not to be found buy a wondering eye.
There are two kinds of outdoor growers. The one that starts to germinate and sprout the seeds in a indoor environment and then there are growers that plants the seeds directly into the ground outdoors from day one. The choice of how to start your Outdoor Grow is of a personal nature and preference.
When planting outdoors, spacing of your plants are important. Try growing your plants at least three feet apart. Planting your plants too close to each other and thinking you can get more plant in a small area can have negative effects as in Stunted Growth.
The plants like some water during their growing season, BUT in moderation. This is especially true around the root system, as too much water will rot your plant’s roots and killing your plant.
